Obituary for James Ray Grider
James "Jim" Ray Grider , age 67 of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. Born January 29, 1951 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Charles and Gloria (Hanley) Grider. On January 1, 2001, he married Shari Partlow.

Jim was retired from there Federal Government after 39 years where he worked as an IT Specialist. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Englewood. When not working, Jim enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed bowling, watching NASCAR and his favorite sports teams, Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers.

Survivors include his wife, Shari and sons, Aaron Grider and Bryan (Jessica) Grider. Jim also had 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the annual Bonfire which will be held at his home in Morgantown on September 8, 2018. Memorials can be given to a GoFundMe account Shari set up to offset medical expenses. Woodlawn Cremations was entrusted with the arrangements.
