Obituary for James Dewitt Smith
Smith, James Dewitt, 69 of Louisville, KY died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born October 29, 1948 in Champaign, IL to the late Velma Winona and Louis Grady Smith and was a retired member of the Wyoming Michigan police force.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Jean Smith.

Survivors include his son Scott James Smith, Scott’s wife Christina and grandson Collin James, children Julie, Jodi and Scott and their families, sisters Pennie Gernand and Cindy Draime, life partner Beverly Easley and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown, IN.
