Obituary for Charlene Sue Cox
Charlene Sue (Nowling) Cox, age 78, of Plainville, Indiana, passed away on January 7, 2018. Born January 10, 1939 in Plainville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles Woodrow and Wanona Irene (Norton) Nowling. She married Morris Leroy Cox on June 30, 1957 in Plainville, Indiana, he proceeded her in death on December 15, 1982.
Charlene graduated from Plainville High School with the class of 1957. She was a charter member of the Parkview Christian Church.

She is survived by her children, Charles Palmer Cox, Anita Louise (John) Abrams, May Lynn (Mark) Yarbrough and Bruce Alan Cox; her siblings Janet Ruth (Richard) Stuffle and Robert (Janet) Nowling; one daughter in law Lisa Cox; Nine grandchildren, Cierra Cox, Megan Cox, Olivia Cox, Kindra Cox, Dustin Cox, Brandi Woods, Kelly Abrams Stroud, Harvey Abrams and Leann Jones; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her two sons, Michael Leroy and Thomas Joe Cox.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Parkview Christian Church
