Obituary for Christopher "Shorty" Van Skyke
Christopher Robin-Andrew “Shorty” Van Skyke, age 32 of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Born May 16, 1985 in Orange County, California, he is the son of Anna Romo and Frederick Van Skyke Sr.

Shorty was working at Granite Warehouse in Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his kids and family. He attended House of Victory.

Survivors include his parents, Anna Romo & Bill Bayne and Frederick & Addeline "Tony" VanSkyke; children, Brooklynn and Nathanial Van Skyke; siblings, Luann (Scott) Clingerman of Indianapolis, Frederick Van Skyke Jr. of Florida and Don Bayne of California; maternal grandparents, Luann Martinez and Lupe Romo; nieces and nephews, Anna and Kelle Smith, Scott Clingerman III;

Pastor Eddie Carr will conduct services at 7:00pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the House of Victory at 1006 Laurel Ave, Indianapolis, 46203. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at the church. Burial will be Friday at New Crown Cemetery. Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the Christopher “Shorty” Van Skyke Memorial Fund. Friends can sign the guestbook or share a favorite memory at www.WoodlawnCremations.com. Woodlawn Cremations and Funeral is handling arrangements.
