Obituary for Amy Jo Sparks
Amy Jo Sparks (Bauerla) Amy Jo Sparks, 55, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Baptist Health Floyd.
She was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on May 4, 1963, to the late Barbara Stewart Bauerla and Donald E. Bauerla. Amy was a very kind and giving person who had a passion for kids and animals! She never met a stranger and took in many 4 legged fur-babies over her lifetime. Family was the most important thing to her and she was dearly loved by her husband Eddie for more than 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard Bauerla, and her two sisters, Dawn Bauerla and Amelia McDougal.
Survivors include her husband, William “Eddie” Johnson, her children, Kimberly Johnson, Serenity Johnson, and Konnor Johnson, her siblings, Jeffery Bauerla (Tracy), Madonna Cottrell (Charlie), her stepmother, Barbara Koch Bauerla, stepsisters Terri Lynn Doyle and Lee Ann Money (Wayne), four grandchildren, and many well-loved nieces and nephews.
